Dr. Chi-Chih Chen, a Research Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, developed Nikola Labs’ wireless power technology. With a distinguished career in electrical engineering and antenna design, Dr. Chen has made important advances in ground penetrating radar, novel radar systems and compact/low-profile antenna designs for communication and navigation. He believes that radio frequency waves hold great potential to improve people’s lives and is excited to put his know-how to work, bringing wireless power from a laboratory curiosity to commercial reality.
