Roland Tallos joined Nikola Labs in July of 2014. Prior to that, he worked as a Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University ElectroScience Laboratory under Dr. Chi-Chih Chen. Roland’s research efforts were focused on radio frequency (RF) energy harvesting systems, including circuitry and antenna design. Roland is a co-inventor of Nikola’s first product, a self-harvesting iPhone case that extended battery life up to 16%.
